Camaraderie, Competition and Championship Courses

 

We are an independent golf association for golfers over 50. We are very much who we say we are and our actions reflect that commitment.

 

 

"We exist to provide memorable golf experiences for all handicap levels of golfers over 50 by having events at the best classic courses in Vermont and adjacent states through customer service that stresses camaraderie and friendly competition."

 

Our competitions are friendly, low-key, promote enjoyment of the game, and support the golf industry in Vermont.  We pay out our purses in the pro shop where our event is hosted and this helps support that club. We also are committed to participate in the VGA scholarship fund as a gold level sponsor.

 

Our competitions are flighted, but are not all about winning, but rather about making new friends, growing friendships, and competing against yourself and the course, not your opponent. It is truly a gentlemen's game at VTSGA.

 

We do follow the rules of golf, putt everything out, and usually play it down. We also celebrate each other's successes.
